Maricela Diaz-Ramirez, a 41-year-old Latina, was fatally stabbed Monday, Sept. 12, in the 6700 block of Gardenia Avenue in Long Beach, according to Los Angeles County coroner’s records.
About 9:50 a.m., Long Beach police received a call about a dead person at a residence, according to a press release. Officers found Diaz-Ramirez with stab wounds to her chest, according to coroner’s records.
Detectives are pursuing all leads, according to a police spokesman.
