Marie Esther Goree, 49
Marie Esther Goree, a 49-year-old Asian woman, died Friday, July 11, in Altadena three years after an assault by her husband left her quadriplegic, according to the Los Angeles County coroner.
According to coroner's records Goree had never been released from the hospital after she was injured in the 2005 attack. She died at Little Company of Mary Hospital where she had been taken after first being treated at Huntington Memorial.
Her death was listed as a homicide.
