Martin Contreras-Garcia, a 25-year-old Latino, was shot and killed Monday, Aug. 20, in the 1500 block of West Arlington Street in Long Beach, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.
Contreras was found in front of his home after being shot in what officials from the Long Beach Police Department said was an apparent dispute. A preliminary investigation shows that the attacker shot Contreras with a handgun.
Contreras’ preliminary coroner report indicates he sustained a gunshot wound to the hip.
Police are still searching for the shooter
