Marvin Sheldon Bradley, 26

Marvin Sheldon Bradley, a 26-year-old black man, was shot and killed Saturday, June 27, in the 4300 block of South Western Avenue in Vermont Square, according to Los Angeles County coroner’s records.

Shortly before 10 p.m., Bradley was in a liquor store with three other people, LAPD Det. Dave Garrido said. Bradley and the others walked outside and a light-colored Toyota stopped at a curb and a person inside opened fire.

Bradley was struck and pronounced dead at the scene. No one else was injured, Garrido said.
