Robin Vincent Hill, 53

Robin Vincent Hill, a 53-year-old black man, was stabbed to death Sunday, July 22, in the 1900 block of South Robertson Boulevard in Mid-City, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.

[Editor's note: An earlier version of this post, based on information from the coroner's office, identified the victim as an unknown black man. Additionally, the incident address was incorrectly listed as having occurred in Silverlake.]

Ed Winter, spokesman for the coroner's office, said Hill was found on the sidewalk with stab wounds about 8:20 p.m.

Authorities were called and the victim was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 8:55 p.m.

The coroner's office had no other details about the case.
