McKune George Collins, 25
McKune Collins, a 25-year-old black man, was fatally shot Saturday, Nov. 26, in the 5500 block of Ackerfield Avenue in Long Beach, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.
Collins, a resident of Victorville, was found shot about 5:30 p.m. He suffered fatal gunshot wounds to his chest and was pronounced dead at the scene.
It's believed that Collins and the assailant may have had a conversation or argument just before the shooting, said Long Beach police spokeswoman Lisa Massacani. The incident was possibly gang-related.
