Michael McCullough, a 15-year-old black youth, was shot several times on Wednesday, May 6, in the 4000 block of Coco Avenue in Crenshaw, according to the Los Angeles County coroner’s office.
Michael was walking in an alley when someone walked up behind him and fired a handgun, striking him several times, said Ed Winter, a spokesman for the coroner’s office. He was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead at 4:12 p.m., Winter said.
