Michelle Kimberly Stamper, 45

Michelle Kimberly Stamper, a 45-year-old white woman, was shot and killed Friday, Nov. 2, in the 3100 block of Almeria Street in San Pedro, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.

The shooting occurred about 10:30 p.m., the LAPD said.

Police say Johnny O’Kane, 55, chased Stamper out of the home and fired two shots, striking her in the head. O’Kane then called 911 and reported the shooting.

Arriving officers cleared the home and found the man with a single gunshot wound to the head. He was taken to Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, where he is listed in critical condition.

Paramedics pronounced Stamper dead at the scene.

The motive for the killing is a domestic dispute.
