Mikea Lim, a 1-year-old girl, died from severe head injuries at 340 W. Wilson Ave. in Glendale. The time of death was listed as 5 p.m. Tuesday, March 11.
According to the coroner's office, the mother said the toddler fell down the stairs.
Update: The Los Angeles County coroner's office said the incident is being investigated as a homicide, but added that the investigation could close either as a homicide or accidental death.
