Moises De La Torre, a 25-year-old Latino, was fatally shot by police Sunday, February 24, at the intersection of Vineland Avenue and Archwood Street in North Hollywood, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.
The Los Angeles Police Department is investigating the shooting, which occurred about 6:50 p.m.
Officers had responded to a radio call that reported an assault with a deadly weapon. De La Torre died at the scene, police said.
