Moses Pastemes, 20

Moses Pastemes , a 20-year-old Latino, was shot and killed Wednesday, Jan. 20  in the 600 block of East 24th Street in Historic South-Central, according to Los Angeles County coroner’s records.

About 1:30 a.m., Pastemes was walking west on East 24th Street when he was approached by two Latinos who shot him, said LAPD Det. Rich Arciniega. The two men then ran west on East 24th Street, Arciniega said.

Pastemes was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 3:56 a.m., according to coroner’s records.
