Mylan Paul Waggoner, 36

Mylan Waggoner, a 36-year-old white man, was found stabbed to death Tuesday, April 5, near Wardlow Road and Webster Avenue in Long Beach, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.

Officers responded to an "unknown trouble" call regarding a possible unconscious person at a bus stop shortly before 7 a.m., according to a Long Beach Police Department news release.

When police arrived, they discovered Waggoner on a bus bench. He had been stabbed several times in the upper torso with an unknown object.

Paramedics were called, and Waggoner was pronounced dead at the scene.

Homicide detectives are continuing their investigation.
