Oscar Arevalo, a 32-year-old Latino, was shot and killed Tuesday, Oct. 11, in the 10600 block of South Wilmington Avenue in Watts, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.

Arevalo was standing on the corner of 106th Street and Wilmington Avenue about 8:50 a.m. when he was shot by two unknown men, according to an LAPD news release.

Authorities were called and Arevalo was pronounced dead at the scene at 9:05 a.m. Coroner's records show he suffered several gunshot wounds to the face, head, back, buttocks, legs and hand.

They caught the killers! They weren't the sharpests tools in the shed, since they went and blabbed about their crimes to an informant in jail. Now they can rot in jail where they belong!

On October 11, 2011, at approximately 8:50 a.m., Oscar Arevalo, a member of the Varrio Grape Street gang who was also known as “Knuckles,” was gunned down at the corner of Wilmington and 106th Street in Los Angeles.
