Osmar Israel Orellana, 18

Osmar Israel Orellana, an 18-year-old Latino, was fatally shot Wednesday, July 24, in the 8400 block of South Main Street in Los Angeles’ Florence neighborhood, according to L.A. County coroner’s records.

Orellana was standing on the corner of 84th and South Main Street about 11 p.m. when four men walked toward him, said LAPD Det. Supervisor Sal LaBarbera.

One person fired multiple rounds, striking Orellana, LaBarbera said.  No one else was injured.

Orellana was taken to a hospital where he died at 11:28 p.m., according to coroner’s records.
