Ottoniel Dario Matias, 31

Ottoniel Dario Matias, a 31-year-old Latino, died Tuesday, April 2, after he was shot in the 400 block of Normandie Avenue in Koreatown, according to Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner’s records.

On March 22 shortly before 4 a.m., officers from the Los Angeles Police Department’s Olympic Division responded to a call of a shooting, according to a news release.

Officers found Matias with gunshot wounds.

He was taken to a hospital, where he died April 2, according to coroner’s records.

Police did not say what led to the shooting but said that suspects fled in a sedan south on Normandie Avenue.
