Pair charged in fatal Florence shoooting
Two Latino men – ages 24 and 25 – have been charged in the fatal shooting of Adalberto Garcia Solis, 25, in April, according to police and the Los Angeles County district attorney’s office.
Carlos Calderon and Javier Garcia have each been charged with one count of murder, attempted murder and shooting from a motor vehicle, according to the Los Angeles County district attorney’s office.
Calderon was arrested on suspicion of murder May 7, according to online Sheriff’s Department records. Garcia was arrested on suspicion of murder May 19.
Both are suspected of killing Garcia Solis in the 400 block of East 65th Street in Florence. The two are due in court for a scheduling hearing June 24.
