Patrina Michelle Marie Sabella, 32

Patrina Sabella, a 32-year-old Latina, died Tuesday, March 20, after being stabbed in the 10600 block of Valleyheart Drive in Studio City, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.

Sabella, of Rosamond, was found with multiple stab wounds early Tuesday morning at the baseball fields of Weddington Park South.

The victim was pronounced dead shortly after authorities arrived at 2:20 a.m. Coroner’s records show she suffered several stab wounds to her face and neck.

Stephen Joanou, a 25-year-old white man, was arrested Tuesday in Burbank in connection with Sabella's slaying. He is being held in Los Angeles County jail in lieu of $1.45-million bail. Joanou's next court appearance is schedule for April 12 at the Van Nuys Municipal Court.
