Primitivo Ramirez, 23

Primitivo Ramirez, a 23-year-old Latino, was fatally beaten Thursday, Oct. 8, in the 500 block of South Bonnie Beach Place in East Los Angeles, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records and law enforcement.

At 7:45 p.m., Los Angeles County sheriff's deputies found Ramirez suffering from "blunt force trauma" in the street, according to a department news release

Ramirez was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 8:40 p.m., according to coroner's records.

The Sheriff's Department said a man was seen running away from where Ramirez was found.
