Raivone Warren, 32 [Update]

Raivone Warren, a 32-year-old black man, was fatally shot Thursday, Sept. 23, near 115th Street and Croesus Avenue in Watts, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.

Warren was found in the street about 3:50 p.m. with several gunshot wounds, said Ed Winter, spokesman for the coroner's office.

Authorities were called and he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Winter said it appeared Warren was shot after an argument.

The Times has contacted detectives to obtain more details about the incident and will include an update as soon as possible.

[Updated at 3:35, Sept. 30: LAPD criminal gang and homicide Det. Keri Potter, who is handling the case, said the shooter was described as a black male.

Potter also said although no one else was hurt during the shooting, it appeared the incident was gang-related.
