Ramiro Almaguer-Perez, 54
Ramiro Almaguer-Perez, a 55-year-old Latino, was shot and killed Wednesday, April 30, near Wilshire Boulevard and South Bulington Avenue in Westlake, according to Los Angeles County coroner’s records.
Almaguer-Perez was driving a red scooter west on Wilshire shortly after 1 p.m. and had stopped at stop sign, said Los Angeles Police Det. John Motto.
A small white car pulled up behind Almaguer-Perez and a person got out, walked up and fired multiple rounds, Motto said.
The gunman fled north on South Burlington Avenue and the car went west on Wilshire Boulevard.
Almaguer-Perez was pronounced dead at the scene at 1:19 p.m., according to coroner’s records.
