Raul Machado, a 31-year-old Latino was found dead Sunday, Feb. 16, at the intersection of East Avenue S and 57th Street in Palmdale.
About 4:30 a.m., deputies responded to a possible hit-and-run call at the Palmdale intersection, but when they arrived, an adult male was found dead, according to the Sheriff's Department and the Los Angeles County coroner's office.
The Van Nuys resident was pronounced dead at the scene at 4:44 a.m., said Ed Winter, a spokesman for the coroner’s office.
