Ricky Clements, 23

Ricky Clements, a 23-year-old black man, was shot and killed Saturday, June 27, in the 8600 block of Mary Avenue in Los Angeles, according to Los Angeles County coroner’s records. 

The incident began when the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department received a call at 1:05 a.m. about a man who had been shot, according to a department news release. 

Deputies found Clements outside his residence, with multiple gunshot wounds. He was taken to St. Francis Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 1:42 a.m., according to coroner’s records. 

Clements was standing outside when he was shot, according to the news release. Witnesses described a tan vehicle leaving the scene at the time the shooting, according to the release. No other suspect information was available.
