Robert Brandon Jalomo, 35

Robert Jalomo, a 35-year-old Latino, was fatally shot Tuesday, Feb. 8, in the 600 block of West I Street in Wilmington, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.

Jalomo was found on the street shot several times about 2:20 a.m. after authorities received reporting gunfire, said Ed Winter, spokesman for the coroner's office.

Paramedics were called and the victim was pronounced dead at the scene at 2:37 a.m.

The coroner's office had no other information about the case.

The Times has contacted detectives to obtain additional details about the investigation and will post more information as soon as it becomes available.
