Rodrigo Salazar-Perez, 24

Rodrigo Salazar-Perez, a 24-year-old Latino, was shot and killed Wednesday, Sept. 16, in the 1200 block of Chestnut Avenue in Long Beach, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records. 

Salazar-Perez was standing in a driveway when a person with a gun walked up and shot him,  according to coroner's records. 

When police arrived, they found Salazar-Perez lying in the street, according to a department news release. He was pronounced dead at the scene at 12:49 a.m., according to coroner's records. 

Investigators do not have a motive for the slaying and provided no suspect information.
