Salvador Zambrano-Sanchez, 32

Salvador Zambrano-Sanchez, a 32-year-old Latino, was shot and killed Sunday, Sept. 29, in the 4200 block of Montclair Street in Jefferson Park, according to Los Angeles County coroner’s records.

Zambrano-Sanchez was at a party about 1 a.m. when he was kicked out for fighting, said LAPD Det. Supervisor Sal LaBarbera.

Zambrano-Sanchez walked down the street and called a person for a ride when three men from the party approached him and the group began fighting.

One of the men pulled out a handgun and shot Zambrano-Sanchez, LaBarbera said.

He was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead at 1:34 a.m., said coroner’s spokesman Ed Winter.
