Samuel Lee Benton, 63
Samuel Lee Benton, a 63-year-old black man, was stabbed to death Friday, Feb. 14, near East 112th Street and Evers Avenue in Watts, according to Los Angeles County coroner’s records.
After he was stabbed, Benton was found on a sidewalk in the area, according to a news release from the Los Angeles Police Department.
Benton was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead at 7:52 p.m., said Ed Winter, a coroner's spokesman.
