Saul Cameros Jr., a 27-year-old Latino, was shot and killed Sunday, March 4, in the 13800 block of Sherman Way in Van Nuys, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.

Ed Winter, spokesman for the coroner's office, said Cameros was discovered shot in an apartment complex courtyard about 11:25 p.m.

Authorities were called and the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

According to coroner's records, the victim was shot several times in the torso and head.

Winter said Cameros may have had an argument with someone prior to being shot. He had no other information about the case.
