Sayuri Jean Trujillo, a 57-year-old Asian woman, was fatally shot on Wednesday, Feb. 4, in 4400 block of Rutgers Ave. in Long Beach, according to Los Angeles County coroner’s records. 

Long Beach police received a call around 3 p.m. about two bodies found at a home. Officers arrived and found the bodies of Trujillo and her husband, Salvador Trujillo. The two were both 57 and pronounced dead at 3:20 p.m. at the scene. 

Autopsy records show Salvador Trujillo killed his wife Sayuri Jean Trujillo and then committed suicide. Investigators have not determined a motive for the killing.
