Sevada Aghazarian, 28
Sevada Aghazarian, a 28-year-old Armenian man, was shot and killed Thursday, Feb. 10, in the 13700 block of Burbank Boulevard on the border of Sherman Oaks and Van Nuys, according to police and Los Angeles County coroner’s records.
About 6:10 p.m., a group of people were inside a restaurant in the area when a dispute arose, said Los Angeles police Lt. Steve Harer.
The group then walked into the parking lot, and a man pulled out a gun and shot Aghazarian several times, Harer said.
Aghazarian was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 6:53 p.m. said Ed Winter, a coroner’s spokesman. An autopsy showed that Aghazarian died of multiple gunshot wounds, Winter said.
There is no indication the shooting is gang related, Harer said. The suspect is described as a heavy-set male Armenian about 35 years old.
