Sheddrick Laraye Butts, 31

Sheddrick Butts, a 31-year-old black man, was shot and killed Monday, Nov. 28, in the 10500 block of South Vermont Avenue in Vermont Vista, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.

Butts was standing outside a liquor store about 9:28 p.m. when four men pulled up in a dark-colored vehicle, officials said.

The men got out and shot Butts several times, according to a statement from the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.

Officials said more than one of the suspects fired, but it was not clear how many. The shooting was believed to be gang-related.

why yall didnt run go tell this in the news? because its 4 hispanics that killed this black man for nothing. mad because of a robbery attempt that happen on 84th and normandie to a hispanic with his 5 year old son in the car ,who saw everything.said to be by a black the night be for.the next night at the same time they killed this young man at 105th and vermont store.the sherriff saw everything and know how and who and how many times and who all fired shots but this was never reported or this deceased mans name.why? tell the media about this.you put the hispanic guys infomation on the news and in the paper and he was 52 years old. murder either way no matter what your race.what if it were you or your love 1? not right lennox.
