Stephen Antwoine Harris, 26

Stephen Antwoine Harris, a 26-year-old black man, died Tuesday, Jan. 6, after he was shot in the 500 block of East Avenue Q 2 in Palmdale, according to Los Angeles County coroner’s records.

About 11:20 p.m. on Jan. 5, Harris was inside his garage along with three other people when a gunman began shooting into the garage, according to a news release from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

Harris, who was struck multiple times by gunfire, was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 1:23 a.m. on Jan. 6, said Ed Winter, assistant chief of investigations for the coroner’s office.
