Thanh Gong, 23
Thanh "Hai" Gong, a 23-year-old Asian man, was shot multiple times at 10024 Valley Blvd. in El Monte about 1 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 19.
He was declared dead at the scene, according to Deputy Luis Castro of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.
