Tracy Lynette Castle, a 51-year-old white woman, was found dead Tuesday, July 30, in the 700 block of East 108th Street in Green Meadows, according to Los Angeles County coroner’s records.

About 9 a.m., officers from the Los Angeles Police Department’s Southeast Division responded to a residence to perform a welfare check and found Castle dead inside a container in the bedroom, said LAPD Det. Nathan Kouri.

Charles Thorpe, who lives at the location, was arrested on suspicion of murder. It’s unclear why Castle was with Thorpe, but police said they believed the two were previously involved in an intimate relationship.
