Vadim Kogan, 48
Vadim Kogan, a 48-year-old white man, died Saturday, Aug. 4, three days after he was beaten in the 4300 block of West 3rd Street in Koreatown, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
[Correction: An earlier version of this post, based on information from the coroner’s office, incorrectly listed the victim’s age as 45.]
Officials received a battery call Aug. 1 about 2:59 a.m. When police arrived, Kogan was already being treated by paramedics and was taken to Cedars Sinai hospital for treatment.
The cause of death has yet to be determined.
Kogan’s assailant was identified as male, but no other details are available at this time.
