Wade Bonam, 18

Wade Bonam, an 18-year-old black man, was fatally shot Saturday, Feb. 25, in the 14800 block of White Avenue in East Compton, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.

Sheriff's deputies responded to a call of a shooting about 5 p.m.

When authorities arrived, the discovered Bonam injured. Paramedics were called, and the victim was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

According to coroner's records, Bonam suffered several gunshot wounds to his body.

Officials did not release any additional details about the incident.
