Yolanda Contreras, 41
The body of Yolanda Contreras, a 41-year-old Latina woman, was found inside a burning vehicle in the 300 block of Francisco Street in Carson about 6 a.m. Friday, Jan. 11.
Los Angeles County sheriff's deputies discovered the body and called paramedics, who pronounced her dead at 6:03 a.m. According to coroner's records, Contreras died from blunt force trauma to the face before she was burned.
