Sena Khim, a 37-year-old Asian woman, was found dead Tuesday, May 7, in the 600 block of East 10th Street in Long Beach, according to Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner’s records.
Officers from the Long Beach Police Department responded to a call of “unknown trouble” about 7:30 a.m. and found Khim with blunt force trauma to the upper body, according to a news release from the department.
Khim was pronounced dead at 7:49 a.m. at the scene, according to coroner’s records.
Investigators determined that Khim was physically assaulted by her boyfriend, identified by police as Soeun Sam, a 59-year-old Asian man, police said.
Sam was arrested on suspicion of murder at the scene.
