Adrian Ernesto Posueloz, 25
Adrian Ernesto Posueloz, a 25-year-old Latino, died Sunday, Nov. 29, after he was shot in the 4400 block of Mercury Avenue in Montecito Heights, according to Los Angeles County coroner’s records.
About 11:15 p.m. on Nov. 28, officers from the LAPD’s Hollenbeck Division responded to a call of a shooting investigation and found Posueloz suffering from a gunshot wound, said LAPD Det. Jose Ramirez.

The man asked “Where you from?” prompting Poseuloz and his friend to try to run away.
Posueloz ran about 50 feet before he was struck by gunfire. He was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead on Nov. 29 at 12:05 a.m.
Ramirez said that Poseuloz had no gang affiliation "whatsoever."
