Alvaro Enrique Galvez, 21
Alvaro Enrique Galvez, a 21-year-old Latino, was fatally shot Sunday, Aug. 12, in the 7000 block of North Lankershim Boulevard in Sun Valley, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.
Ed Winter, spokesman for the coroner’s office, said apartment building residents found Galvez unresponsive and alerted authorities about 5:45 p.m.. He was taken to the hospital by paramedics and was pronounced dead at 6:25 p.m.
A preliminary coroner report shows he sustained multiple gunshot wounds to the abdomen and chest.
