Anthony Calderon, 30

Anthony Calderon, a 30-year-old Latino, was fatally shot on Saturday, Oct. 21, near the intersection of East 3rd and South Locust streets in Pomona, according to Los Angeles County coroner’s records. 

Pomona police received a call about 2:10 a.m. about a stabbing victim and shooting victim in the area, according to Sgt. Brian Hagerty. Officers found Calderon suffering from several gunshot wounds and another victim with multiple stab wounds. 

Both victims were transported to the hospital where Calderon died at 4:34 a.m., according to coroner’s records. The stabbing victim had surgery and is stable, Hagerty said. 

Police are still looking for a suspect.
