Antonio Maurice Wilson, 27

Antonio Maurice Wilson, a 27-year-old black man, died Thursday, Nov. 30, after being shot near West 43rd Street and South Vermont Avenue in Vermont Square earlier in the month, according to Los Angeles County coroner’s records.

Shortly after 6 p.m. Nov. 14, Wilson was walking alone to a store when a vehicle approached and he was shot multiple times, Los Angeles Police Det. Dave Garrido said.

Authorities found Wilson in a parking lot, according to coroner’s records. He was taken to a hospital, where he died more than two weeks later, at 6:38 p.m. Nov. 30, according to coroner’s records.

Police are working on a vehicle description.
