Aram Sashoyan, 29

Aram Sashoyan, a 29-year-old Armenian man, was shot and killed Wednesday, May 28, in the 800 block of South Vermont Avenue in Koreatown, according to Los Angeles County coroner’s records.

Shortly before 9:30 p.m., witnesses flagged down Los Angeles police officers and said they saw three men run out of a nearby marijuana clinic wearing masks and carrying a duffle bag, according to a news release from police.

The men got into a green sedan and drove east on Francis Avenue. When officers entered the clinic, they saw Sashoyan, of Glendale, inside.

Paramedics responded and pronounced the man dead at 10:37 p.m., said Ed Winter, a coroner’s spokesman. An autopsy showed that he died from a gunshot wound, Winter said.
