Brandon Lopez, 15

Brandon Lopez, a 15-year-old Latino, was shot and killed Wednesday, Aug. 3, in the 4000 block of West 103rd Street in Inglewood, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.

Shortly before 11:45 p.m., officers from the Inglewood Police Department responded to a call about a shooting, according to a news release.

Officers found Lopez suffering from gunshot wounds, police said.

According to coroner's records, Lopez was sitting in a car in the driveway of a home when a person walked up and shot him.

Lopez was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.
