Deric Rashawn Moore, 32

Deric Rashawn Moore, a 32-year-old black man, was shot and killed Sunday, March 11, in the 6000 block of West Boulevard in Hyde Park, according to Los Angeles County coroner’s records.

Moore walked up to a dark-colored sedan about 10 p.m., and a person inside shot him multiple times, said Los Angeles Police Det. Chris Barling.

Moore was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 10:56 p.m., according to coroner’s records.

It’s unclear whether Moore knew the person inside the car, Barling said. The sedan fled north on West Boulevard.
