Eddie Mitchell, 15
Eddie Mitchell, a 15-year-old black teenage boy, was fatally shot Thursday, July 5, in the 1000 block of West Manchester Boulevard in Vermont Knolls, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.
About 2 a.m., officers were called to Manchester Boulevard and Vermont Avenue, where they found Mitchell with a gunshot wound to the chest.
He died of his injuries at a hospital. Coroner’s records later revealed he suffered several gunshot wounds to his body.
Police said they did not have any information on suspects.
