Elisa Glatstein, 80

Elise Glatstein, an 85-year-old white woman, was pronounced dead at West Hills Hospital & Medical Center about 11 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 23.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, Devonshire Division officers were called to check on the woman at her home Saturday morning in the 21900 block of Dupont Street in Chatsworth. Officer Norma Eisenman of the LAPD's media relations office said that officers found Glatstein in her bedroom covered in her own waste.  She was taken to the hospital for treatment but was pronounced dead hours later. Officers arrested Glatstein's 54-year-old daughter, Belinda Feldman, on suspicion of neglect.
