Felix Alan Munoz, a 44-year-old Latino male, was found dead Wednesday, Jan. 22, with multiple gunshot wounds at Edward Vincent Jr. Park, 700 Warren Lane, in Inglewood, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.
About 7:20 p.m., Munoz joined his friend and his friend's girlfriend in the park where they met up with two others, according to the preliminary investigation by Inglewood Police Department detectives. Munoz then walked with only the two others to the park's restroom.
The friend and his girlfriend heard gunshots at about 7:25 p.m. and called 9-1-1, according to the investigation.
Munoz was pronounced dead at the scene at 7:53 p.m., according to coroner's records.
The preliminary investigation also noted that Munoz was a known gang member.
