George Zapata, 25

George Zapata, a 25-year-old Latino, was found shot to death Friday, Sept. 18 in the 200 block of East Gage Avenue in Florence, according to Los Angeles County coroner’s records.

Zapata was found on the street outside his home about 1 a.m. with multiple gunshot wounds, said LAPD Det. Richard Arciniega.

Zapata was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 1:20 a.m., according to coroner’s records.

Police are still trying to determine a motive.
