Glen Troy Jones, 42

Glen Troy Jones, a 42-year-old black man, was fatally shot Saturday, Sept. 3, in the  400 block of East 41st Street in Historic South-Central, according to Los Angeles County coroner’s records.

Shortly before 2:30 p.m., Jones was at a meeting hall with at least one other person and the gunman, Los Angeles Police Det. Dan Gersna said. There was a dispute, and the gunman shot Jones, Gersna said.

The gunman ran away, and no arrests have been made.

Jones was pronounced dead at the scene at 3:20 p.m., according to coroner's records.
