James Hill, 64

James Milton Hill, a 64-year-old black man, died at a local hospital Friday, May 23, after being shot 13 days ago. Hill had been on life support after surgery.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, Hill was shot on May 17 about 4:30 a.m. at the intersection of Florence Avenue and Denker Avenue In South-Central L.A. Police said the driver of a black compact pulled alongside Hill and shot him. Hill collapsed on the pavement.

I can't help to think about you at this Time. I miss you daddy, I didn't know that this was in here. I did a search on your name and found this. We cherish your memory your myself and my little brother's , Lil James, your baby boy Rasheed. Justice will be served rather the police get the job done or not. I serve aN awesome God, and He says vengeance is His, He will repay. They took something precious from us, and that was you daddy. I wI'll never forget the day that I had to make the decision to take you off of life support. And the doctors declared you brain dead, I was sure that I was going to be able to take you home and care for you. It saddens me that your life was taking away from you by a someone that has not heart about human life. My heart will not allow me to call them what they deserve to be called. Since your passing you have become a grandfather again your baby boy has 4 children added to my already 4. Lil James is back home. Your oldest grand daughter, my daughter has 2 boys. So thus far your a grandfather of 8 and great-grandfather 2. Oh and I finally got married to a wonderful man by the name of Hayward. I wish that you were here to walk me down the aisle 2 years ago, but God held me down. Well I'm going to get my day started, Rest in Heavenly peace daddy.
